We are currently living in two connecting motel rooms.
There isn't a ton of space, but right now we don't have a lot of things. We've put what clothing we have in the dresser drawers and piled the suitcases in a corner.
The kids room has two queen beds while mine and Kerry's room has a queen bed and a sofa.
Because we have two rooms, we have two bathrooms, two televisions, two microwaves, two coffee pots and two mini-refrigerators. It's nice that we are not all waiting for a turn for a shower, that food can be heated in both microwaves at the same time, and that two televisions can be in use at once.
The main drawback is that we don't have a freezer, an oven, a stove, or knives. I went on a shopping trip yesterday and bought paper plates, cups, napkins, and plastic utensils. But still, there are only so many meals you can make with a refrigerator and a microwave. I can't slice, dice, boil, bake, broil or roast anything.
I like it here.
Someone comes to clean the bathrooms, make the beds, deliver clean towels, and vacuum the carpet.
