I have a couple of happy girls.
Emily is particularly happy because for the first time EVER in the history of her dairy allergy, I managed to find a plethora of dairy-free candy bars for her. In the past, we've only ever found two and she only liked one of them.
A few weeks ago, I ran by Whole Foods while I was in St Louis and I couldn't find her one candy bar. I asked a sales clerk where they had put the dairy-free candy bars and he led me to a whole row of dairy free chocolate. I was in shock as he picked up each one and told me, "This one is like an Almond Joy, this one is like a Reece Cup, this one is like a Milky Way, etc." Some of them, I figured she still wouldn't like as she is not a fan of peanut butter or coconut, but I bought one of each anyway just so she could try them. You never know.
Rigger was not as happy. He wanted some chocolate too, but of course, it's bad for dogs.
He does know how to make a person feel guilty.

Our Dane does this very thing. I wont tell my hubby, since he thinks she is so unique and special.
