Mama On The Move

I just asked Ben to help me walk the dogs one last time tonight.  He came downstairs and walked in a circle through the kitchen, dining room and living room. "Where's my coat?" "You hung it up in the closet." "I did?" "You did.  I stood there and watched you do it." "Why did I do that?  I never hang my coat in the closet!" That moment when your child puts something away without thinking about it and without being told to do it.  Flashes of a true adult showing through.
