Today we decided to view some of Hawaii's beautiful coastlines. We drove to the southeast tip of the island to see the Halona Blowhole. The road rambles along the coastline and you have an amazing view of mountains on your left and blue, blue ocean on your right. While there are some sandy stretches of beach, this area is largely rocky, cliff-filled coastline and it is one incredible view.
Just off to the side of the blowhole, you can look down onto this pretty little cove. There were several people down there and it was almost like a private beach except for the dozens of tourists peering down and taking pictures. If this beach looks familiar to you it's because this is that beach; the beach where Debra Kerr and Burt Lancaster famously rolled around doing some serious snuggle bunnies in From Here To Eternity.
I've always wanted to visit Hawaii so I love seeing these beautiful photos. Looked like a fun day.
