Mama On The Move

Kerry, Katie and I were all in the car together. Katie piped up from the back seat, "Did one of you just fart?" "No," we both responded. I took a quick sniff to see if I could detect what she was smelling but everything smelled fine. "Do you smell something bad?" I asked. "Almost," she responded.

Katie's English lessons are focusing on how to write a research paper.  I'll confess, this is not my favorite teaching point.  Unfortunately, it's very necessary - just ask Ben and Emily who are both writing plenty of papers these days! I was reading out loud to Katie from the teacher's guide, "To begin the writing process all you need is A) a pencil, and B) paper." Suddenly Emily stomped into the room and bellowed at us, "All you really need is A) MONITOR and B) KEYBOARD!  They need to update that book!!!"

We had a fantastic time at Trivia Night! Each table is supposed to have a theme so we chose "Monopoly". For a group who picked our theme less than 24 hours in advance, I thought we did a pretty good job! Kerry and I dressed as the "Luxury Tax" space and the "Go to Jail Space".   Another couple dressed as the "Electric Company" and "In Jail" spaces.  Another member made a monopoly board with all our names on the property spaces. We had a blast even though we didn't win anything.  We were in the running for quite a while for the trivia prize but about halfway through we started lagging behind. It was still a lot of fun though!

I, amazingly, completely forgot to take pictures of the girls in their Easter dresses. Fortunately, Emily snapped pictures of their feet during church. So there's that.
