Emily got her wisdom teeth out on Monday. I was hoping to get a hilarious video of her on anesthesia that would go viral and make us all rich, but no such luck. Apparently they just knock them out with something that doesn't make them all goofy nowadays. Boo. The doctor warned us repeatedly that she wouldn't hurt much until DAY THREE. Day three is the bad day. He warned us to make sure we had her prescription for painkiller filled before day three hit. That's apparently when all the steroids and pain meds they gave her while she was unconscious would fully wear off. As the doctor was telling us this - I repeat AS THE DOCTOR WAS TELLING US THIS - Emily said, "I'm already hurting a lot now . I need something now ." I had intended to take her home and let her sleep while I went to get her prescription filled. But she started crying on the way home and wanted to go get medicine immediately.
